The Villages Golf & Country Club is a gated, active senior golf course community nestled in the Evergreen foothills of East San Jose, CA. The Villages is for empty nesters who want a resort-style lifestyle, or just a place to mingle with other active seniors.

One person must be 55+ to live in the Villages, and there are other restrictions as well (contact me for more information).
Besides an 18 hole and an executive 9 golf course, the Villages boasts 6 tennis courts, 4 swimming pools, a modern fitness center, two restaurants, over 50 clubs and organizations, a post office, a library, a weekly newspaper, and many more amenities. All of this is included in the homeowner’s dues (golf membership only is included; golf play is separate).

The Villages consists of 12 separate villages built from 1967 to 2000. They are Village Cribari (the first village), Village Montgomery, Village Del Lago, Village Sonata, Village Hermosa, Village Olivas, The Estates, Village Valle Vista, Village Glen Arden, Village Highland, Village Verano, and Village Fairways.
Most homes are single level, no one above or below, but there are also many that have someone above or below, accessed by either going up or down a half a flight of stairs. The newer villages have high ceilings and spacious master suites, and a few have gas stoves but most are electric.
There are approximately 2500 homes in the Villages, 227 of which are single family homes, and the rest are condos. We have homes in all sizes and prices to fit every taste and budget.
Each village has its own budget, so the monthly homeowner’s dues vary by village, and also by the square feet of the home and garage. The homeowners dues for condos include all outside maintenance except for inside the patio area, water, sewer, garbage, insurance on the structure, and Cable TV (Comcast is our provider). The homeowner’s dues for the single family homes are very low because they do not include any utilities or maintenance of the home except for Cable TV. All Villagers pay Club Dues and have access to all the amenities.
